Description
We are looking for an Office Specialist I.
Performs responsible administrative and technical support functions including public communication, reporting, and office coordination to ensure accurate operational tracking and efficient administrative processes.
Essential Functions:
High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of clerical, administrative support, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Essential Functions:
- Compiles, reconciles, and prepares monthly and periodic reports detailing incoming and outgoing materials, financial deposits, accounts receivable activity, and historical trend comparisons.
- Maintains accounts receivable and payable records; prepares invoices and bills of lading; processes deposits and assists in balancing financial documentation in accordance with County procedures.
- Serves as primary point of contact for telephone inquiries and facility communications; provides information regarding services, policies, and procedures; directs calls or visitors as appropriate.
- Maintains organized and accurate filing systems for financial records, operational documentation, employee files, and correspondence; recommends procedural improvements subject to supervisory approval.
- Prepares written correspondence to vendors, merchants, internal staff, and other stakeholders regarding shipping, receiving, and financial matters.
- Monitors office supply inventory and coordinates purchasing in compliance with County purchasing policies and administrative guidelines.
- Supports daily operational coordination by participating in meetings, distributing communications, maintaining secure office access, and assisting in adherence to established procedures and safety protocols.
