We are looking for a Assistant Warehouse Manager!

The purpose of this classification is to perform clerical work associated with conducting warehouse operations, assisting with inventory control, producing reports, and maintaining inventory records. 

Essential Functions:

• Maintains inventory of parts, supplies, fuel, oil, and other materials; monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate quantities.
• Conducts periodic physical inventory counts; maintains current inventory records.
• Stamps asset numbers onto tags for asset tagging.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse/storage areas; performs general cleaning/housekeeping tasks associated with maintaining warehouse and work area.
• Issues parts, tools, supplies, orders, or other items at window; fills work orders for parts/supplies from inventory; pulls stock to fill work orders; reviews work orders to ensure accuracy and closes out completed work orders.
• Maintains logs/records of all materials checked out or issued.
• Communicates with vendors regarding product availability, bids/price quotes, status of orders, problems, discrepancies, or other issues; determines use of appropriate vendors/suppliers based on price, availability, and other factors.
• Produces spreadsheets for monthly purchase order reconciliation; reconciles monthly purchase orders with statements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience involving inventory control, warehouse operations, or general office work
• Any equivalent ,combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
