Floyd County Public Works is looking for a Temporary/ Seasonal Employee
Job Summary:

Floyd County is seeking a reliable and motivated Temporary Equipment Operator / Mower to assist with the maintenance of county grounds, parks, and roadways. This position involves operating mowing equipment, performing routine equipment checks, and assisting with general groundskeeping tasks.

Essential Functions:

1. Operate and maintain mowers, tractors, dump truck, and other equipment.
2. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment issues.
3. Maintain county-owned parks, roadsides, and other public areas by mowing, trimming, and clearing vegetation.
4. Follow safety protocols and county policies at all times.
5. Assist with additional groundskeeping or public works tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

The ability to read and write English. Must posses and maintain a valid drivers's license.
